New documentary shows how horses are helping to heal veterans

Warrior Ranch, in partnership with Warrior Films, will present the premiere of “Warrior: A Battle Against Trauma, Learning to Love and Trust Again” at The Suffolk in Riverhead on Thursday, May 22.

The documentary shines a light on the profound role horses play in helping to heal and rehabilitate those who have served our country as veterans and our communities as first responders. Many of the horses featured in the film are rescue animals.

Proceeds from the film will benefit the Warrior Ranch Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving veterans and first responders by connecting them with rescue horses.
