New restaurant opens in Northport next month

Branzinos Restaurant & Bar leased will be opening a new location in Northport next month.

The 2,700-square-foot restaurant at 240 Fort Salonga Road will be Branzinos’ second on Long Island, following its original eatery at 315 Walt Whitman Road in Huntington Station, which opened in Jan. 2020.

Branzinos features fresh seafood, prime steaks, chops and pasta. The Northport Branzinos, which is slated to open the second week of June, will also add sushi and wood-fired pizza to its regular offerings.

The property at 240 Fort Salonga Road was formerly occupied by Southdown Market, but it has been redeveloped and is now home to F45 Training, Lavish Nails and the new Branzinos.
