Pet-A-Palooza adoption event returns to Little Shelter in June

Little Shelter’s Pet-A-Palooza event, a free day of family fun with hundreds of adoptable animal companions, is coming to Little Shelter in Huntington on Saturday and Sunday, June 14 and 15, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The event, which is sponsored by Anna and Raven’s Adopt and Rescue and WALK 97.5 will feature alumni festivities, a ‘dogs on parade’ contest, a ‘doggie swimsuit’ contest, and a Chinese auction, as well as barbecue food and kids games.

There will be a chance to meet Anna and Raven of Anna and Raven’s Adopt and Rescue on Saturday morning, and a special ‘Blessing of the Animals’ service will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, June 15.Little Shelter is located at 33 Warner Road, Huntington.
