Pet Expo in the Park returns to Copiague this month

Pet lovers and their animal companions are invited to the Pet Expo in the Park, an event held in conjunction with the Long Island Family Festival sponsored by the Copiague Chamber of Commerce.

The event will be held at Tanner Park in Copiague on Saturday, Sept. 13 and Sunday, Sept. 14 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Admission is free and leashed pets are welcome to come and join in various activities, including agility run-throughs by Doggie U Canine Academy and Zeno’s Dog Run lure course, each available for a $5 fee. Attendees can also witness high-flying jump and frisbee demonstrations featuring dogs from My Canine’s Keeper.
