Mokafé chain opening its first Long Island location
Mokafé, a new Middle Eastern-inspired coffee house, will hold a soft opening at its first Long Island location on Sunday, Oct. 26.
The new 3,200-square-foot cafe is located at 606 Broadhollow Road in Melville.
The Mokafé name comes from the ancient coffee trading port in Yemen “Mokha” and one of the most famous coffee-based drinks, mocha, according to the company’s website.
Besides serving specialty coffees from places like Yemen and Guatemala, Mokafé offers pastries, sandwiches, cold drinks, ground coffee and coffee beans.
The Melville Mokafé will be open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. during its soft opening.
