Local student partners with councilwoman to launch pet supply donation drive
Huntington Town Councilwoman Theresa Mari, in conjunction with Madison Kayton, a senior at Half Hollow Hills High School West, have announced the launch of a “Protect the Paws” pet supply donation drive, from now through Sunday, Jan. 11, to support local animals in need.
“Madison is a shining example of how young leaders can make a real and meaningful difference in our community,” said Councilwoman Mari. “Her compassion for animals and her willingness to take action reflect the very best of Huntington’s youth.”
During the drive, residents are invited to participate by donating essential pet supplies, including blankets, pet food, toys, and pet toiletries. Donation boxes are located at Huntington Town Hall, located at 100 Main St., Huntington, and The Flanagan Center at 423 Park Ave., Huntington.
All donated items will benefit animals in need through the Protect the Paws initiative.
