Green Acres to host several Easter Bunny experiences

The Green Acres Mall in Valley Stream will be hosting a few events for kids featuring the Easter Bunny.

From 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, March 22, the mall will host a Sensory-friendly Bunny Experience between Aeropostale and Journeys stores, offering a calm, welcoming environment ideal for children with autism and other sensory needs. During this dedicated hour, families can enjoy a quieter setting without the usual crowds, bright lights, or loud sounds. Children will also receive complimentary sensory toys, and supportive staff will be on hand to help ensure a positive experience for every family.

Green Acres will host a Pet Party Night from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday, March 23 at the bunny set between Aeropostale and Journeys stores. Guests are invited to bring their pets to pose with the Easter Bunny in a cheerful spring setting and capture adorable seasonal photos. The first 20 guests who purchase an A+ Photo Package during the event will also receive a special pet treat as a thank-you for participating.

From 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday, March 26, the mall will host an Interactive Story Time. Children’s librarian Ms. K from the Henry Waldinger Memorial Library will host the event in Center Court followed by a special appearance from the Easter Bunny. Goody bags will be available for children while supplies last.

From Friday, March 20 through Sunday, April 5, the Easter Bunny returns to Green Acres for seasonal photo experiences. Guests can reserve a photo session online to secure a preferred time and reduce wait times, though walk-ins are also welcome.
