Molloy University’s nursing program rises in national rankings
Molloy University in Rockville Centre has once again earned national recognition in the latest Best Graduate Schools rankings released by U.S. News & World Report (USNWR).
Molloy’s Barbara H. Hagan School of Nursing and Health Sciences Master’s in Nursing program was ranked 83rd in the nation, rising 18 positions from the previous year.
“We are proud to see our graduate programs recognized on a national level,” said James P. Lentini, president of Molloy University. “These rankings reflect the dedication of our faculty and the determination of our students.”
In addition to Molloy’s nursing program, other graduate schools at the university were also recognized, including the Barbara H. Hagan School of Nursing and Health Sciences Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology program, which was ranked 244th nationally, and the School of Education & Human Services Master’s in Education program, which was ranked 202nd.
“We are proud of these USNWR rankings because they underscore the excellence of our graduate programs as well as the education and nursing faculty and staff who are dedicated to helping our students achieve their academic and professional goals,” said Michelle Piskulich, provost and VP for Academic Affairs at Molloy University. “All of Molloy’s education and nursing graduate programs respond to our mission to provide transformative education that prepares our students to be ethical leaders with the capacity to transform their organizations and communities.”
The U.S. News & World Report Best Graduate Schools rankings evaluate programs based on a variety of factors, including faculty credentials, academic quality, research activity, and student outcomes. This year’s rankings were compiled using both statistical surveys and expert reviews of programs.
