BAPS Charities donates food to pantry and hospital

BAPS Charities prepared and delivered a total 300 packages of food to the Helping Hand Rescue Mission food pantry and Northwell Health’s Huntington Hospital last week.

Working out of the BAPS Temple in Melville, volunteers put together the food packages and delivered 200 of them to the hospital and 100 to the food pantry.

The effort is part of ongoing assistance from BAPS Charities locations worldwide to support healthcare workers fighting the COVID-19 pandemic and others impacted by the crisis.
