Virtual splashing for Long Beach Polar Bears

Instead of their annual fundraising dip in the ocean, the Long Beach Polar Bears will be making a splash virtually this year.

Because of the pandemic, the Long Beach Polar Bears are asking people to splash at home and share those videos on social media, using the #SplashFromHome hashtag. They are also requesting that the posts tag the Long Beach Polar Bears and Make-A-Wish Metro NY, which is the beneficiary of its fundraising efforts.

The club is holding its virtual splashing through Feb. 7.
