Art in the Park returns to Farmingdale

Farmingdale Village will host its 12th annual Art in the Park show and sale next month.

The free event is scheduled for 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 17 on the Farmingdale Village Green at 361 Main St. It will feature about 20 artists exhibiting and selling their artwork. 

Long Island artist Elaine Faith Thompson is one of the featured exhibitors at Art in the Park. Her artwork, which has been commissioned and by levels of government, include the 2009 U.S. Open Bethpage Golf Tournament, the 2019 PGA Championship, Long Island Lighthouses and many more.

Ribbons will be awarded to artists and children up to fifth graders can display their 8.5” by 11” on the Art in the Park clothesline.

The rain date is Sunday, Sept. 24.
