‘Celebrating the North Fork’ concert by Long Island Concert Orchestra

The Rites of Spring Music Festival will mark its 10th anniversary next week with ‘Celebrating the North Fork’, a special concert event showcasing the Long Island Concert Orchestra (LICO) under the baton of Grammy-nominated music director Enrico Fagone at The Suffolk on Monday, June 16 at 7:30 p.m.

“As we celebrate a decade of musical innovation on the East End, we’re honored to pay tribute to the North Fork’s rich agricultural and maritime traditions,” said Fagone. “This program weaves together world premieres, beloved American classics, and the timeless elegance of Mozart, all in collaboration with one of our region’s most dynamic orchestras.”

The program includes selections from Aaron Copland and W.A. Mozart, along with featured works by Alexey Shor and Marco Taralli.

The concert series, which began in 2016, is made possible in part with public funds from Suffolk County with additional support from Long Island Grants for the Arts, through the New York State Council on the Arts, with funding from the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature, administered by the Huntington Arts Council.

General admission tickets are priced between $56 and $90. Purchase of a ticket entitles you to a reserved table; seating at the table is first-come, first-served. Tickets are available online at OvationTix – Celebrating the North Fork.
