The French Workshop coming to Station Yards in Ronkonkoma

The French Workshop, a popular artisanal bakery and café, will be opening a new location at Station Yards in Ronkonkoma.

The chain will open a 3,800-square-foot store at 5 Hawkins Ave.

Founded in 2015 in Bayside, Queens, The French Workshop has a loyal following with its selection of pastries, cakes, pies, croissants, sandwiches, and crafted coffee and espresso drinks.

Patchogue-based Upstream Hospitality Group recently signed a deal to bring The French Workshop chain to Suffolk County. James Bonanno, Upstream’s co-founder, first discovered The French Workshop while opening The Tap Room in Garden City.

“I would stop in regularly and was always impressed by the quality, the experience, and the crowd,” said Bonanno. “After seeing the success of our Tap Room in Ronkonkoma, I realized we could recreate that same synergy between the two brands at Station Yards. It just made sense.”
