Applications for a lottery for affordable apartments in Lynbrook are still open.
Long Island Housing Partnership (LIHP) is accepting the applications for the apartments at The Langdon, a new 201-unit luxury rental building at the corner of Broadway and Langdon Place across from the Lynbrook Long Island Rail Road station.
There are 20 apartments being offered at reduced rents at the new development from Breslin Realty. They include six studios, 11 one-bedroom and three two-bedroom units for households earning up to 80 percent of the area median income.
According to LIHP, monthly rents for the affordable apartments are $2,212 for the studios, $2,527 for the one-bedroom units and $3,147 for the three-bedroom units.
Each apartment has washer/dryers, floor-to-ceiling windows, walk-in closets, and kitchens with stainless steel appliances. Amenities feature concierge services, rooftop terrace, landscaped courtyard, dog spa and dog run, resident lounge with billiards, fitness center, a lobby café, and more.
