Girl Scouts of Suffolk County host K-Pop Demon Hunters-themed Ghoul Scout Halloween Happenin’

The Girl Scouts of Suffolk County has announced that tickets are now on sale for the Ghoul Scout Halloween Happenin’, a day of spooky fun on Saturday, Oct. 18 from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Girl Scouts’ Camp Edey in Bayport.

This year’s event will include activities themed around the popular Netflix’s breakout animated musical fantasy, ‘K-Pop Demon Hunters,’ in which the girl group Huntr/x (with members Rumi, Mira, and Zoey) balance pop stardom with secret lives as demon hunters, confronting supernatural threats and a rival demon boy band, the Saja Boys, while navigating themes of identity, friendship, and the power of community.

All girls are encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes and bring a bag for trick-or-treating inside the camp. Events will run all day, featuring activities like pumpkin painting, a costume fashion show, a cornhole tournament, and ‘zombie archery’ in the afternoon, followed by an evening session including a spooky forest trail, glow in the dark gaga ball, Halloween movies and a s’mores bar.

Food trucks and a selfie station will be available all day. Attendees registered by Saturday, Oct. 11 will receive a free Ghoul Scout Halloween Happenin’ event patch.

Tickets are available online for $20 for registered Girl Scouts, and $25 for non-registered children ($10 for adults), or at the door for an additional $5 surcharge. This event is free for children 2 and under. Tickets can be purchased here.
