5K Walkathon to benefit children’s fund for Stony Brook Hospital

Howard Hanna|Coach Realtors is holding a 5K walk in Huntington next week.

The event, slated for 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct.14, will be held at Heckscher Park. The rain date is Wednesday, Oct. 15.

The walk around the Heckscher Park lake will benefit Howard Hanna Children’s Free Care Fund at Stony Brook Children’s Hospital.

Established as a nonprofit organization in 2012, the company’s Children’s Free Care Fund has benefitted more than 20 hospitals in six states. So far, Howard Hanna agents and employees have come together to raise more than $22 million.

There is a minimum $20 donation to participate or to sponsor a walker.
