Two Thirty Six brings omakase experience to Syosset
A unique new restaurant that just opened in Syosset offers a Japanese omakase experience.
Called Two Thirty Six, it’s located at 236 Jericho Turnpike in a space formerly occupied by Mara’s Southern Kitchen.
Operated by the owners of the Kashi Japanese restaurant chain, which has locations in Syosset, Huntington, Rockville Centre, Bellmore and Stamford, Conn., Two Thirty Six offers small plates, a sushi bar and craft cocktails.
The menu at Two Thirty Six features raw bar selections like Salad Sashimi, Madai Crudo, Kaizen Canapes and more. Its kitchen offers Lobster Udon Pasta, Yoshoku Lamb Chops, Wagyu Steak Frites and more.
Two Thirty Six is designed to create a metropolitan dining experience with every detail “crafted to delight the senses and leave a lasting impression,” according to its website.
The omakase at Two Thirty Six has two seatings on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays at 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. and four hourly seatings on Fridays and Saturdays beginning at 5:30 p.m. Reservations are required.
