I.FLY Trapeze gets into the swing of things at Westbury mall

I.FLY Trapeze celebrated the grand opening of Long Island’s first indoor flying trapeze and aerial arts school, located at Samanea New York Mall in Westbury. The launch marks an exciting new chapter for the family-owned business as it celebrates 20 years of inspiring confidence, strength, and community through circus arts.

For two decades, I.FLY has welcomed children and adults to its renowned outdoor flying trapeze rig in Eisenhower Park. With the debut of its brand-new indoor facility, students can now learn and fly year-round — rain, shine, or snow — inside a bright, spacious, climate-controlled training center built for families, first-timers, and aspiring performers of all ages.

“Opening this indoor school has been a dream for years,” said co-founder Marc Rosamilia. “After 20 seasons outdoors, we’re thrilled to offer a year-round home for flying, learning, and celebrating what makes circus arts so special: courage, joy, and community.”

Located in the heart of Samanea Mall, the new school provides a safe, imaginative, and encouraging environment for anyone interested in circus arts. Students can explore flying trapeze, aerial silks, lyra (aerial hoop), hammock, straps, hula hooping, juggling, Chinese yoyo, and more. Programs are offered for ages four through adult and include beginner classes, advanced instruction, camps, workshops, and private events.

“This space lets more families experience the joy and personal growth circus arts can bring,” said co-founder Anthony Rosamilia. “We’re still the same warm and welcoming I.FLY — now you can join us all year long.”

Founded in 2006 by Long Island brothers Marc and Anthony Rosamilia, I.FLY began as a seasonal outdoor program and has since grown into a beloved community institution. The school has introduced thousands of students to the empowering world of circus arts through summer camps, S.T.E.A.M. field trips, flying trapeze classes, and aerial programs for kids, teens, and adults. The new indoor facility builds on that legacy with expanded offerings and year-round accessibility.

To celebrate its milestone year and the opening of its new home, I.FLY will host a Free Holiday Spectacular — a 30-minute performance featuring dancers, aerialists, and flying trapeze artists at 7 p.m.on Saturday, Dec. 20. The event is open to families, friends, and fans of all ages.
