Babylon Kite Festival takes flight

The North Babylon & West Babylon Chamber of Commerce will once again host their annual Kite Festival this month.

The 6th Annual Kite Festival takes place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 25 at Overlook Beach at 100 Ocean Parkway in Babylon.

Professional kite flyers will fly some huge kites at the festival, which will also feature “Candy Drops” and their bubble machine food trucks and vendor merchandise.  

There is free parking and free admission and non-residents of the Town of Babylon are also welcome. Attendees can fly their own kites or purchase one at the chamber tent to fly.
