Angela’s House Home Store goes online
Angela’s House, a Hauppauge-based nonprofit supporting medically fragile children and their families across Long Island, has taken their store online.
The new digital storefront went live this past Monday, July 7, allowing its supporters to shop, donate, and stay connected with the organization’s mission.
“Let me be absolutely clear—Angela’s House is not going anywhere,” said Bob Policastro, founder and executive director of Angela’s House. “While our physical store has closed, our commitment to children and families on Long Island remains stronger than ever.”

The Angela’s House Home Store in Medford, which has been a local favorite for six years, helps raise awareness and funds for Angela’s House programs. The online store will feature donated furniture, home goods and more, just like the former retail location.
“The goal in moving to an online model change is to ensure the stability and long-term impact of our programs for medically fragile children,” Policastro said. “While the Angela’s House Home Store may look different, our purpose remains the same—to raise awareness, gather support, and serve those who need us most.”
Founded in 1992 after the Policastro family’s personal experience with their daughter Angela, the organization has grown to support over 15,000 children with complex medical needs. Angela’s House provides critical case management, medical equipment, and support services not covered by insurance—often through its Everyday Wishes Program, funded by generous donors and partners.
