Kickball for a cause to benefit LI Against Domestic Violence

A Battle of the Badges kickball tournament in Lindenhurst aims to raise funds to benefit L.I. Against Domestic Violence (LIADV).

Teams from LIADV, Suffolk County Sheriff’s Office, New York Police Suffolk County Police Department, Suffolk Probation, Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office and Nassau County Sheriff’s Office will face off in the event to be held at the Venetian Shores Park softball fields from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday, Oct.. 2.

Besides the competition, the event will feature food vendors and raffles. Sponsors include Miller & Caggiano, LLC Attorneys at Law, Suffolk County Police Steuben Society, Columbia Association Suffolk County Police and Suffolk County Police Hispanic Society.

Tickets are $10 and admission for children age 12 and under is free. Venetian Shores Park is located at 817 Granada Parkway in Lindenhurst.
