Hofstra students fight food insecurity with Ellen

Students from Hofstra University volunteered Wednesday to pack snack boxes for St. Louis-based nonprofit MATTER’s One Million Acts of Good campaign, which aims to fight food insecurity in partnership with Cheerios and Ellen DeGeneres. The boxes will be donated to Long Island families in need at Mary Brennan INN (Interfaith Nutritional Network) Soup Kitchen and Glory House Recovery Shelters.
