Greenlawn lemonade stand raises cash for kids

A Greenlawn family set up a lemonade stand this past Sunday and raised thousands of dollars for Smile Train, a New York-based nonprofit that provides corrective surgery for children with cleft lips and palates.

It is the 12th year for Ella’s Lemonade Stand outside of the home of 12-year-old Ella’s parents, Jim and Kelli Pastorelli. The family has raised enough money for more than 500 surgeries in the 12 years they’ve run the annual one-day lemonade stand.
