Little Shelter to host anniversary party
The Little Shelter Animal Rescue and Adoption Center will be hosting a party to celebrate its 96th anniversary.
Billed as a sweet-treat extravaganza and garden party, the event takes place at 3 p.m. on April 29 at the Little Shelter at 33 Warner Road in Huntington.
Founded in 1927, the Little Shelter is a nonprofit, no-kill animal shelter on 6 acres dedicated to saving abandoned dogs and cats and placing them into loving forever homes. Age, physical condition, and socialization issues are never criteria for rescuing a dog or cat whose life is in jeopardy.
