New therapy rooms at mental health clinic dedicated to Clark Gillies Foundation after $100K gift

SCO Family of Services, a provider of essential human services in New York City and Long Island, celebrated a $100,000 gift from The Clark Gillies Foundation during a special ribbon cutting and dedication at its outpatient mental health clinic located at the organization’s Madonna Heights campus in Dix Hills, on Wednesday, August 20.

Two therapy rooms in the Madonna Heights Family Service Clinic were named in honor of the foundation: The Clark Gillies Foundation Family Therapy Room and The Clark Gillies Foundation Child Therapy Room.

“This extraordinary gift from The Clark Gillies Foundation is a testament to their unwavering commitment to improving the lives of children and families,” said Suzette Gordon, president and CEO of SCO Family of Services. “Their support will directly enhance the therapeutic services we provide and ensure that our clients have access to the tools and resources they need to succeed.”

The donation will fund essential furnishings, therapeutic tools, and technology to support play, art, and music therapies.

“These therapy rooms will provide critical resources for healing and growth, and we know Clark would be so proud to see the difference they will make in people’s lives,” said Emily Tyree Collins, executive director of The Clark Gillies Foundation. To learn more about SCO Family of Services and its new therapy rooms, visit www.sco.org.
