Langdon Social to celebrate Lynbrook and benefit Mt. Sinai South Nassau

The Langdon at Lynbrook Station, Long Island’s newest transit oriented development, celebrates its opening with a family-friendly street fair that will benefit Mount Sinai South Nassau.

The event, slated for 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 4, will feature entertainment, music, food and games at 1 Langdon Place, across from the Lynbrook Long Island Rail Road station.

“With music, food, games, and entertainment, it’s our way of introducing people across the Island, and New York City, to a $100 million luxury apartment community that is literally steps away from a LIRR station that can transport you to Manhattan in 30 minutes,” said David Orwasher, chief development officer at Breslin Realty Development Corporation (BRDC). “More important is our ability to donate all street fair sponsorship dollars to Mount Sinai’s South Nassau’s expanding cardiac services program. This vital initiative will bring advanced procedures, including open-heart surgery to Nassau County’s South Shore for the first time.”

Joseph Calderone, senior vice president at Mount Sinai South Nassau, said: “Mount Sinai South Nassau has served the Lynbrook community for nearly 100 years, so we are honored to be part of a street fair that celebrates this wonderful and hard-working community that is in our primary service area. And we are grateful to the Breslin’s for their generation donation that will help us expand cardiac services on the South Shore. Our patients and all the communities we serve will directly benefit.”

The Langdon brings 201 luxury apartments to downtown Lynbrook with community amenities that include a welcoming lobby café, concierge services, rooftop terrace with skyline views, a landscaped courtyard with a range of outdoor amenities, a resident lounge with billiards, a state-of-the-art fitness center, dedicated work-from-home stations, and more.

Individual apartment features include floor-to-ceiling windows, in-unit washer/dryers, walk-in closets, spacious kitchens with stainless steel appliances, luxury wide plank flooring, welcoming bathrooms, and apartments with thoughtful layouts designed to offer ample storage.

“The Langdon is a full-service luxury rental building that comes replete with extraordinary rooftop views, an attractive walkable downtown and adjacent mass transit options that can get you to the beach in minutes or Midtown in a half hour,” said Justin Breslin, a vice president at BRDC.

The Langdon leasing office is open seven days a week, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday & Sunday. The leasing office number is 516-775-0001.
