Valentine’s cabaret show to benefit historic theater restoration

Celebrate St. James, in partnership with the director and cast of Lighthouse Repertory Theater, is presenting a special Valentine’s Cabaret fundraiser to support the restoration of the historic Calderone Theatre.

The event will take place over two performances on Friday, Feb. 13 at 7:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 14 at 176 Second St. in St. James. It will feature live cabaret-style performances and a full dinner and dessert. 

“Lighthouse couldn’t be more excited to co-produce this Valentine’s Day fundraiser with Celebrate St. James,” said Tony Chiofalo, founder and director of Lighthouse Repertory Theater. “Our actors are eager to volunteer their time and talents to help raise money for renovations of the historic St. James Calderone Theatre.”

Proceeds from the event will directly support the preservation and restoration of the Calderone Theatre.

“This event truly reflects the heart of what Celebrate St. James is all about,” said Natalie Weinstein, board president and founder of Celebrate St. James. “By preserving this historic space, we are honoring its past while creating opportunities for future artists to perform, grow, and share their talents with the community.”
