Law firm to host Valentine’s dinner celebrating LI couples married for 50+ years
In celebration of Valentine’s Day, Long Island couples who have been married 50 years or more are invited to attend the fourth annual “Lasting Love” Valentine’s dinner on Thursday, Feb. 26, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Verona Ristorante in Farmingdale.
The annual event, which is sponsored by Cona Elder Law, is the largest annual gathering of Long Island couples married 50 years or more.
Each participating couple will be treated to a dinner that includes appetizer, dinner and dessert plus a glass of wine or cocktail. Melissa Negrin-Wiener, senior partner at Cona Elder Law, will lead a traditional toast that honors relationship longevity and couples will then have the opportunity to share their stories about how they met and how they have been successful in their marriages and offer advice to younger couples on their own path to relationship success.
The event is open to the public, but space is limited.
