Digital art classes offered in Huntington Station

The Spirit of Huntington Art Center is offering classes in video, animation and graphic design.

The in-person and virtual programs are designed to cater to individuals of all ages and abilities, providing them with the skills and knowledge to excel in the digital creative world.

Digital art classes teach students to work with digital art and computer graphics, working with Adobe programs including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Premiere.

In the Short Film Group class, students will work together to produce a short film. In the Animation class, students will be taught all aspects of 2D and 3D art and motion, utilizing Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Animate and Adobe After Effects.

In the Mini-Movie Making class, students will learn about brand development and how to use AI. A class called Storytelling: Social Media Management teaches students how to create a robust online presence.

Most classes are $75 each with five classes for $300 and the Short Film Group class is $99 per class.
