Free skating at Winter Wonderland event
The Dix Hills Ice Rink is hosting a Winter Wonderland celebration next month that features free ice skating and more.
The event, which takes place from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 14, will also have an ugly sweater contest, live entertainment, holiday crafts, free hot chocolate and photos with Santa, who will be giving away stuffed animals courtesy of PetSmart.
The Huntington High School Band Ensemble, Huntington High School Chorus and Stimson Middle School Teen Tones Chorus will be entertaining at the event, which takes place at the Town of Huntington-owned facility at 575 Vanderbilt Parkway in Dix Hills.
