FCA and donors provide backpacks for school kids

Nearly a thousand Long Island school children received new backpacks and school supplies thanks to the FCA and its corporate donors.

Businesses, other organizations and individuals who made the backpack distribution a success support FCA’s Family Support and Children’s Mental Health programs across Nassau and Suffolk counties.

Donors included Henry Schein, Eisner Amper, the New York Islanders, The Brooke Jackman Foundation, Mazars, the Rho Kappa Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc., the New York Tech Center of Hermandad de Sigma Iota Alpha Inc. and the CRE Finance Council.

FCA, also known as Family & Children Association, helps more than 30,000 Long Islanders each year. For the last 137 years, the nonprofit organization has worked to protect and strengthen vulnerable children, seniors, families and communities on Long Island.
