Stop & Shop groceries now available through DoorDash

Stop & Shop has announced a new agreement with DoorDash, making an additional on-demand grocery delivery option available to customers.

Delivery from DoorDash is now live, and customers can access the option via the DoorDash app, in addition to their regular delivery and pick up options on the Stop & Shop app and website StopandShop.com.

The new DoorDash delivery option is available at all of Stop & Shop’s New York stores, including its 50 Long Island locations.

“We are pleased to offer our customers another fast and convenient grocery delivery option,” Tarik Stewart, regional vice president of operations for Stop & Shop, said in a company statement. “The speed and ease of DoorDash and its strong reputation for providing great customer service aligns with Stop & Shop’s mission of providing high quality products at affordable prices with excellent customer service. We look forward to delivering this new option for our loyal Long Island customers and serving new customers through DoorDash too.”

Through the new partnership, Stop & Shop’s stores add to the over 100,000 stores offering groceries and other convenience items already on DoorDash’s Marketplace and Drive platforms across North America. DoorDash is available across all markets served by Stop & Shop, and Stop & Shop’s loyalty program, GO Rewards, is integrated into the DoorDash experience, according to the company.

All participating Stop & Shop stores will also be available on DashPass, DoorDash’s membership program that offers members $0 delivery fee, reduced service fees, and member-only benefits on eligible orders from thousands of restaurants, grocery, and convenience stores nationwide.
