Belmont Park Village pedals fundraiser for Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Belmont Park Village, the luxury outlet center in Elmont, will launch its first-ever Welcome to Wellness event featuring SoulCycle and benefiting Northwell Cancer Institute.

The two-day event, on Saturday, Oct. 17 and Sunday, Oct. 18, will feature five fundraising SoulCycle rides led by Founding Senior Master Instructor Stacey Griffith, with 100% of funds raised donated to Northwell Health’s Center for Women’s Cancer.

SoulCycle classes will take place at 11:45 a.m., 1 p.m. and 2:15 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 17, and at 11:45 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 18, with Griffith leading all five sessions. Guests can join her for an immersive, high-energy experience that combines movement, music, and community in support of breast cancer care and research. Registration fees start at $50, with a tiered seating model allowing riders to select their preferred row. Riders who want to be closer to the action can choose premium-priced seats.

“At Belmont Park Village, we believe in bringing people together around experiences that go beyond shopping, and Welcome to Wellness is a natural extension of that vision,” said Valerie Leon, president of Belmont Park Village. “Partnering with Northwell Health and SoulCycle allows us to come together as a community for a cause that matters deeply to so many people, while creating a weekend that is energetic, memorable and uniquely Belmont Park Village. Through Do Good, our nonprofit arm, we’re proud to sponsor one employee ride, and we’re especially excited to welcome Stacey Griffith to the Village. Her energy will set the tone for a weekend that brings people together to move, connect and give back.”

Griffith, a three-year cancer survivor, said the weekend event is deeply personal.

“Celebrating this three-year, cancer-free milestone by bringing people together through movement feels incredibly meaningful. We are all united in this fight, and I’m proud to lead the charge this weekend in support of Northwell Health’s work in women’s cancer care and research,” Griffith said. “I want this ride to be a celebration of strength, connection and gratitude – and a reminder of how powerful it is when we show up for one another. My own community showed up for me in ways I will never forget, and I’ll always be grateful to the team at the Dubin Breast Center who cared for me throughout my journey.”

Beyond the SoulCycle fundraising rides, the weekend will spotlight local wellness businesses from Queens and Long Island, with a lineup of classes. The schedule will include yoga with I Am Yogi Studio, Pilates with The Furm, barre with Pure Barre, and sound baths with Notes & Nirvana. Classes are $15 each, with registration details to be announced on Belmont Park Village’s social media channels.

The weekend will also include giveaways from Belmont Park Village boutiques lululemon, L’Occitane and Fusalp. In support of the weekend’s charitable mission, Belmont Park Village boutique Peserico will donate 5% of sales every weekend in October to Northwell Health’s Center for Women’s Cancer.
