Ben & Jerry’s opens at Station Yards in Ronkonkoma

Ben & Jerry’s has officially opened its newest scoop shop at Station Yards in Ronkonkoma.

The new ice cream shop, located at 3 Hawkins Ave, Unit #1104, is owned and operated by the Long Island-based Sachdeva family.

“Station Yards immediately felt like the right home for our Ben & Jerry’s,” said Nisha Sachdeva, owner of Ben & Jerry’s Ronkonkoma. “We love being part of downtown communities, and Station Yards has such an incredible energy with its mix of residents, events, and local businesses. Bringing a brand that is fun, welcoming, and loved by all ages into this space feels like the perfect fit.”

While Ben & Jerry’s is globally recognized, the brand has meaningful ties to Long Island. Founders Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield grew up in Merrick before opening their first ice cream parlor in Burlington, Vermont. Today, Ben & Jerry’s products are still made in Vermont, where the company is headquartered, and the brand is owned by Unilever, a British multinational packaged goods company.
