Long Island Children’s Museum expands activities, events during April break
Long Island Children’s Museum (LICM) has announced a variety of events and activities for students during spring break including several special guests, interactive workshops and cultural experiences for children home from school.

“April break week is all about discovery,” said Aimee Terzulli, VP of Program and Visitor Experience at the Long Island Children’s Museum. “From meeting animals to creating art and experiencing live performances, families have the opportunity to explore new ideas and make meaningful memories together.”
The special programs include hands-on light-inspired art experience Lumi’s Utopia Workshops, an animal companion adoption and meet-and-greet event offered by North Shore Animal League, a chance to meet and participate in a workshop with artist Kelly Olshan, and a celebration of Holi on Sunday.
In addition to the special programs, guests will still find daily drop-in activities, artmaking, STEM exploration and full access to the museum’s exhibits.All April break week activities are included with museum admission. LICM is located at 11 Davis Ave. in Garden City.
