Fortunoff Backyard Store opens new Long Island showrooms
Fortunoff Backyard Store held grand opening events for two new showrooms in Huntington Station and Stony Brook.
The ribbon-cutting ceremonies held this week were attended by company executives, local officials and community leaders.
The new stores were relocations of previous locations in Melville and Lake Grove.
“We are humbled and grateful for the warm welcome extended by the Huntington Station and Stony Brook communities,” said Curt Littlejohn, CEO of Fortunoff Backyard Store. “We are reaffirming our commitment to serving Long Island families and the greater New York area with exceptional outdoor furniture and accessories.”
The chain opened a new 9,600-square-foot showroom at 269 Old Walt Whitman Road in Huntington Station in a building formerly home to Sam Ash Music. The new 11,900-square-foot Stony Brook store is in the Brooktown Plaza shopping center at 2162 Nesconset Highway.
