‘Great Sitcom Trivia Night’ to support Long Island’s only furniture bank

This weekend, sitcom enthusiasts will have a chance to show off their knowledge while raising money for Long Islanders in need.

Port Jefferson Station nonprofit Open Door Exchange hosts “The Great Sitcom Trivia Night” on Sunday, April 26 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Po’Boy Brewery, 200 Wilson St. in Port Jefferson Station.

Hosted by Sip + Solve Trivia, the afternoon will feature multiple rounds of sitcom-themed questions, prizes for top teams, and food available from The Big Black Food Truck.

“This event is a fun and engaging way for the community to come together while making a meaningful impact,” said Ryan Yuhas, director of development for Open Door Exchange, which provides essential home furnishings to individuals and families in need. “Every ticket purchased helps ensure that families in need have the basic furnishings necessary to create a safe and comfortable home.”

Tickets range from $25 to $40, with proceeds directly supporting Open Door Exchange Furniture Bank.
