The Long Island Museum raises almost $2,000 during inaugural book fair

The Long Island Museum in Stony Brook held its first-ever book fair last month, providing the community with the opportunity to find some true literary treasures and bargains on gently used books, while supporting the museum’s educational programming and exhibitions. 

More than 300 people attended the Inaugural LIM Book Fair last month, which sold approximately 2,000 books. Attendees were also treated to complimentary admission to the LIM’s Art, History and Carriage Museums and their exhibitions, as well as the opportunity to stroll the LIM’s 9-acre campus filled with art installations, a fountain garden and historic buildings.In total, the LIM Book Fair raised approximately $2,000 to help support their mission.
