Crumbl sweetens Stony Brook with its first Suffolk County store

A brand new Crumbl store has opened in Stony Brook.

The cookie and dessert chain’s first Suffolk County location is in the Brooktown Plaza shopping center at 2184A Nesconset Highway.

The new Crumbl is owned and operated by Malay Patel and his wife Riddhi, who also have a Crumbl store in Massapequa. The Stony Brook Crumbl is open 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. from Monday to Thursday and 8 a.m. to midnight on Friday and Saturday. It is closed on Sundays.

Beginning Monday, Dec. 22 through Tuesday, Jan. 20, customers can use code NYSTONYBROOK in the Crumbl app to redeem a free chocolate chip cookie, in-store only.

Crumbl was founded in 2017 in Logan, Utah, by Jason McGowan and Sawyer Hemsley. In just seven years, Crumbl has grown from a humble cookie shop to the fastest-growing dessert chain in the U.S., with nearly 1,200 locations across all 50 states, plus Canada and Puerto Rico.
