NYCB LIVE extends its drive-in movie series

After a successful opening weekend, NYCB LIVE, home of the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum announced it will continue its drive-in movie series this weekend.

Beginning June 5 through June 7 at 7 p.m., the Coliseum will be showing DreamWorks Animation’s “How to Train Your Dragon.” Last weekend’s drive-in showing of “Trolls” was sold out.

The movies are displayed on a large backlit LED screen outside the Coliseum facing Hempstead Turnpike, with audio made available through a partnership with Hofstra radio station WRHU.

The Coliseum has food trucks in the parking lot to provide guests with food and non-alcoholic beverages to purchase. Mobile bathrooms and multiple sanitizing stations are also available.

Tickets are $30 per car in advance or $35 at the gate via credit/debit only. Tickets can be purchased at Ticketmaster.
