“Nine and Dine” golf fundraiser supports mental health nonprofit in Smithtown
Local mental health and disability nonprofit RiseWell Community Services hosted its annual “Nine and Dine” fundraising event on Tuesday, September 15 at Stonebridge Country Club in Smithtown.
Attendees enjoyed nine holes of golf, including hole-in-one challenges and a “beat the pro” contest, followed by an awards ceremony and raffles.
Proceeds from the event support RiseWell’s health and wellness programs and services on Long Island and in New York City. The organization offers more than 40 programs, including comprehensive clinical and substance use services, supported residential care, outreach, care coordination, peer support, mobile support, and financial management.
This year’s honoree was Ham-R-Time Contracting Inc, a long-time partner of RiseWell, who is currently constructing the agency’s new Anthony Angelo Health Clinic and Wyandanch Youth Center in Wyandanch, a center that will provide integrated behavioral health treatment, advanced youth services, primary care coordination, wellness services and peer services, according to the organization.
