Central Islip beautification earns honors

Members of a neighborhood group of volunteers were recognized by the Town of Islip for their recent beautification efforts.

Members of Central Islip Connect for Change constructed planter boxes and planted flowers at the Central Islip Recreation Center in an effort to spruce up the facility.

The group received certificates of appreciation from the town for their initiative.
