ALDI opening in Bohemia

A new ALDI grocery store opens in Bohemia this week.

The grocery chain’s newest Long Island location is in the Sayville Plaza shopping center at 5151 Sunrise Highway.

With the grand opening at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, August 25, the first 100 customers will receive a gift card as part of the ALDI Golden Ticket gift card giveaway program. Shoppers can also enter a sweepstakes for a chance to win a $500 ALDI gift card.

“Our stores are designed to make grocery shopping smarter, faster and easier, and we’ve been voted the price leader for five years running,” Chris Daniels, South Windsor regional vice president for ALDI, said in a company statement. “We’re excited to open our first ALDI store in Bohemia and introduce local customers to a new, more affordable way of shopping.”
