WellLife Network raises over $38K at Ray Morell Memorial 5K

Nonprofit WellLife Network held its Ray Morell Memorial 5K Walk/Run at Eisenhower Park in East Meadow last week, raising more than $38,000.

The second annual event, held on Friday, Oct. 17 with 176 registered participants, honored the late Ray Morell, former director of Facilities Management at WellLife and long-time resident of Floral Park who died in 2024.  

Morell, a beloved member of the community and the WellLife Network family, worked for 15 years at the mental health-focused nonprofit. Morell’s behind-the-scenes work left a lasting impact on WellLife, helping the nonprofit grow to serve over 25,000 individual clients and families across 74 facilities with over 1,600 beds and 117 programs.

There were 30 volunteers at the annual 5K.
