Farmingville Flicks family movie nights are back at Local Church

The Farmingville Hills Chamber of Commerce has announced the return of Farmingville Flicks, a free, family-friendly outdoor movie series presented by Local Church and the Sachem Public Library.

The films are shown in the Local Church parking lot, located at 1070 Portion Road in Farmingville.

This year’s movie nights began on Monday, July 13 with “Goat,” and will continue on Monday, July 20 with “Lilo+Stitch,” and the following Monday, July 27 with the showing of “Zootopia.” 

Families are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs, and their favorite movie snacks to enjoy a different family-friendly movie each week. Ice cream, floats, and treats are available for purchase from Jolly Mike and Gino’s Pizza Truck will be on hand to serve pizza and other fare.. Free popcorn will be offered courtesy of Local Church, which also has bathrooms inside.

Movies begin at sundown — attendees should arrive early to grab their spots, enjoy some treats, and connect with neighbors.
