Shinjuku Station bringing bullet train all-you-can-eat restaurant to LI

Shinjuku Station Revolving Sushi Bar is bringing its all-you-can-eat concept to Long Island.

The chain, which features miniature bullet trains and robots delivering food, will be opening in a 5,800-square-foot building in the Roosevelt Raceway Center at 1230 Corporate Drive in Westbury.

Named after a busy Tokyo railway station, Shinjuku Station runs miniature bullet trains on a conveyor belt and robots to bring food from the kitchen to customers’ tables. 

The menu includes dozens of sushi rolls, appetizers like chicken wings, gyoza, tempura platter, rock shrimp and more. The restaurant’s entree selection features shrimp yakisoba, chicken hibachi, salmon teriyaki, steak dishes, and more.

Shinjuku Station has U.S. restaurants in High Point, N.C., Winston Salem, N.C., South Plainfield, N.J., and Harrisburg, Pa., with several more opening soon in four other states, according to its website. The Westbury location is expected to open before the end of the year.
