The Retreat to honor Chef Michael Symon at its annual golf outing

The Retreat will celebrate celebrity Chef Michael Symon at its annual golf outing on Thursday, Oct. 8 at the Amagansett Golf Club.
Proceeds from the event will benefit The Retreat’s mission to provide safety, shelter, and support for survivors of domestic abuse, sexual assault, and human trafficking.
“As someone who has been the recipient of so much support over the years, I do my best to give back when and where I can,” said Symon, who has been a longtime friend and generous supporter of The Retreat’s nnual golf outing. “Working with The Retreat over the years has been an incredibly meaningful experience, and a cause that I will continue to support for years to come.”
Symon, an acclaimed chef, restaurateur, cookbook author and television personality is widely known to audiences from the Food Network, where he became an Iron Chef after winning The Next Iron Chef and has since hosted and appeared on numerous programs. He has also authored nine cookbooks, including the newly released “Symon’s Dinners: Cooking Out.”
