Takumi restaurant opening in Bay Shore

Westfield South Shore is welcoming its newest eatery.

Takumi Hibachi and Sushi Lounge, a new Japanese restaurant, opens this month at the Bay Shore mall at 1701 Sunrise Highway, featuring a sushi bar, hibachi grills and a main dining area.

Developed by the owners of 110 Japan in Huntington Station, Takumi offers an Asian-inspired smorgasbord with build-your-own poke bowls, sushi wraps and ramen.

As part of its grand opening celebration, Takumi is having a raffle giveaway for the grand opening month, where customers can win a complimentary appetizer, drink, dessert or gift card. Patrons can also get a free appetizer by posting about Takumi and tagging it on social media.
