Stone Street Wood Fired Grill opening in Garden City

A new restaurant, featuring a “live-fire” kitchen, is opening in Garden City next week.

Stone Street Wood Fired Grill, located at 630 Stewart Ave., is the brainchild of native Long Island Chef Art Gustafson, who also owns Primehouse Steak & Sushi in Garden City, Chadwicks American Chop House & Bar and Salsa Mexicana in Rockville Centre. It is scheduled to open Wednesday, Feb. 15.

Built in the space formerly occupied by Hurricanes Wings, Stone Street features a wood-fired grill and a rotisserie and offers menu items like cast-iron skillet steaks and fish, garlic herb rubbed rotisserie chicken, rotisserie prime rib, crispy wood-fired wings, fall-off-the-bone kona ribs, double-stacked burgers, wood-grilled pizzas and more.

“We are building a deliciously fun dining experience for people who want exceptional food and drinks but don’t want to spend a lot of money,” says Gustafson.
