Options for Community Living receives $10,000 grant to support vulnerable Long Islanders
Ronkonkoma-based housing and human services organization Options for Community Living announced it has recently received a $10,000 grant from the Marilyn Lichtman Foundation.
The vital funding will provide general operating support for Options’ programs, which are designed to improve access to healthcare, safe and affordable housing, and critical socio-economic resources for vulnerable Long Islanders.
“Supporting low-income, disabled, and homeless individuals and families is not only a moral imperative—it’s how we build a stronger, more compassionate community,” said Yolanda Robano-Gross, CEO of Options for Community Living. “With stable housing and access to essential services, people can go from merely surviving to truly thriving. We are deeply grateful to the Marilyn Lichtman Foundation for their commitment to uplifting our most vulnerable neighbors.”
